Saturday Aug. 9, 2015 - Johnson's Crossing, YT - 49*
Our goal today is to reach Beaver Creek, 355 miles.
The roads were great all the way through Destruction Bay.
Stopped in Whitehorse and had a wonderful brunch at The Burnt Toast Cafe.
Unfortunately, after Destruction Bay there was considerable construction and the road deteriorated - rough and dusty - like Quebec!  😊
When we hit the Alaska border our odometer read 52,838 - 4,592 miles from Waterford!!
We were hoping to reach Beaver Creek, but made it 109 miles further to Tok.
The extra push was worth it as they had a fantastic salad bar at Fast Eddy's in Tok!,
Another great traveling day!
